NOVEMBER FIRST FRIDAY
Happy Friday!! Can you believe it's November?!
I absolutely love November! The year is winding down, and I am already looking to goals and adventures for the new year, annnnd the beginning of the holiday season!
This month I made a Cranberry Orange Cocktail and Cranberry Orange Soap in the shop now.π Look for the lotion stick and bath bombs too!
At a local farmer's markets where I sell my soap, I would get a request for Cranberry Orange soap. I thought it would be perfect for my November First Friday soap and cocktail! The sweetness of cranberry and tang of orange are the perfect combination.
It is also perfect because I love a cranberry cocktail during the holidays. Mostly because in love drinks with a festive garnish and cranberries are perfect for just that!
Cranberry Orange Cocktail
Serving Size: 2
prep time: 5 minutes
2 oz Orange Flavor Vodka
2 Cups 100% Cranberry Juice
Splash of Club Soda
Whole CranberriesOrange Slices
Ice
Add cranberries and an orange slice to each glass. I like to keep my cranberries in the freezer so they are super cold. In a shaker combine orange vodka, cranberry juice, and ice, and after a good shake pour in a glass over cranberries and orange slice. Add a splash of club soda and enjoy
This past month
I have been making and making more soap, along with making all the things. It still feels like I donβt have enough. I have local shows the next three weekends. Be sure to check out the events schedule here, or Facebook to find where I will be.Even in the midst of all my soap making, I managed to get a wall painted and removed the fabric from these chairs. I am hoping to have the chairs reupholstered before the new year.
When I was not making soap or working on random projects...
Josh and I watched the Netflix series The House on Haunted Hill. It was perfect during the Halloween season! Did you watch it?I never did get that sourdough bread made that I said I was going to make. The starter is in the refrigerator. Hopefully, I will get to make it this month. Although l already feel like I am out of time. So we will see.
Looking Ahead
For two weeks this month, Josh and I are going to do the No Sugar thing. We are going to start the 4th and end on the 18th. I am pretty excited to see how it goes. It is a little practice for January when we go sugar-free for one month. Have you ever done no sugar? Let me know if you have any tips?
Oh, I wanted to ask, do you listen to podcasts? I do. Mostly ones for motivating me in the entrepreneurial adventure or life advice ones I listen to Do it Scared, The Amani Experience, and of course Dave Ramsey. But I am looking for something a little lighter that tells stories. Do you have any suggestions?
Well, that is all I have this Firs Friday. In the feels of being grateful, I am thankful for you! Thank you for reading and following along on my little site.
