One Room Challenge - Fall 2020 - Week 5

It's all happening!! We are heading into the final week of the One Room Challenge. Next week I will post the reveal of the kitchen. I am so ready for this project to be done.

The last two weeks have not been a smooth ride, but mighty productive!

I am taking a quick break from tiling the floors just to write this post. After ripping up the wood floors, I got pretty nervous about the tiling. The kitchen looked pretty for scary for a minute. I should mention neither Josh (my husband) or I have ever installed floor tile. Thankfully my Dad is here to help and I'm beyond thankful. He was a huge help in getting the floors prepped and ready for the tile. He is also super helpful with measuring and cutting.

This past week I also started stenciling the walls and existing tile on the wall. I have never painted over tile before. I'm not finished yet but can tell I'm going to be happy with it.

Keeping this post short because I am going to help tile. I will try and catch up on my Instagram stories @honeylocusthomedecor.
